Greetings for the Eighth week of the quarter! *** Vice President’s Pick of the week *** If you can only attend one event of the week, I suggest … - My pick does not necessarily imply approval or endorsement by the University, Associated Students, or anyone else. My last week as Vice President and author of this weekly message seems to be a quiet one in terms of volume of events. Nowadays, rarely does management get a chance to go out on their own terms, but this is a luxury that I will enjoy. Rachel (President) and I entered our term with a fervor and frenzy of activities setting many proposals into motion, but I would prefer to go out in a way that allows the light to shine on our university’s new student leadership. Many members from our current organization will stay on next year, continuing to work towards the completion of their goals such as getting you an on-campus car rental service or better cell phone reception to name a few, but will do so assisting with a new office that gets sworn in Thursday. I encourage you all to speak up to them, and let your new leaders know what you are thinking as well as what you want. In reflection, some of the accomplishments achieved this year by those who stood by Rachel and I will be proudly displayed in Benson throughout the week, and I hope every one of you has benefitted from at least of one the listed items. These four years have flown by, and for some ambitious enough, their three years were even quicker. I have much to be thankful for, as do most of you.
