Women's Crew Earns NCAA Public Recognition Award for Academics
The Santa Clara University athletics department had three Bronco teams honored by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as recipients of the organization's Public Recognition Awards for academic achievement.

Santa Clara Wins First-Ever Men's Crew WCC Trophy at WIRA's!
For the first time in Santa Clara men's rowing history, the Bronco Varsity 8's out-raced all teams affiliated with West Coast Conference institutions at the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships (WIRA). The Broncos came in third WIRA Grand Final ahead of Gonzaga University (4th), the University of San Diego (7th) and Loyola Marymount University (8th).

Santa Clara University's women's rowing program finished on another positive note during the first day of the 2010 WIRA Championships at Lake Natoma. Following a strong performance in the WCC's Friday, the Broncos were once again excited about the results of the Varsity 8 race as well as the Lightweight 4 race Saturday.

After a grueling but very rewarding week of nothing but rowing, the Santa Clara men's rowing team headed down to San Diego to compete in the annual San Diego Crew Classic - one of the largest regatta's in the nation.

Santa Clara won the feature race at the Sacramento State Invitational this weekend at Lake Natoma. The Varsity 8 boat out-raced the Cal Lights and Sonoma State for the top spot.

Santa Clara University's women's crew team and first-year head coach Anne Kennedy opened the 2010 season over the weekend on the water of Lake Natoma in Sacramento. SCU's Varsity 4 "A" boat finished second in the Varsity 4s.
